Job summary

BOQ Group's Jimboomba branch seeks a Customer Relationship Specialist to welcome customers and respond to their financial needs. You will work with the Branch Manager to identify goals, match banking solutions, and support loan maintenance while guiding customers through digital tools.

You will build referrals to Home Lending and Business Banking, nurture new and existing relationships, and coach frontline staff to deliver exceptional service while pursuing a clear path toward Lending Specialist.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within banking/financial services.
• Ability to identify customer financial needs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to coach others and promote digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and respond to their financial needs.
• Engage customers to identify goals and match banking solutions.
• Manage loan maintenance requests (top-ups, pricing adjustments, variations).
• Refer customers to Home Lending and Business Banking teams.
• Maintain regular contact with customers, manage leads and book appointments.
• Coach Customer Service Officers on conversations and service quality.
• Promote and help customers use digital banking tools.
• Pathway toward Lending Specialist via structured training.
