Job summary

Fridge It is seeking an experienced Fleet Dispatcher to coordinate daily transport operations across our refrigerated fleet, ensuring on-time deliveries within temperature specifications. You will communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams, maintaining compliance and records while staying organized in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in fleet dispatch or transport operations, with strong skills in TMS/WMS and GPS tracking, plus HACCP and fatigue

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a fleet dispatch, transport coordination or transport operations role.
• Experience working within the transport, logistics, warehousing or cold chain industry.
• Strong understanding of fleet scheduling, route planning and load management.
• Proficient in Transport Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and GPS tracking platforms.
• Knowledge of fatigue management and HACCP requirements.
• Exceptional communication skills with drivers and customers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think quickly under pressure.
• High level of attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and dispatch fleet resources to maximise service, efficiency and vehicle utilisation.
• Monitor fleet movements and address delays, route changes and issues.
• Communicate with drivers regarding schedules and customer expectations.
• Ensure deliveries and collections are completed safely, on time and within temperature parameters.
• Liaise with customers to provide updates and resolve transport-related enquiries.
• Maintain transport records, dispatch documentation and compliance requirements.
• Work with warehouse, customer service and management to achieve objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and service performance.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and company policies.

About the Role

As a Fleet Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating daily transport operations across our refrigerated fleet. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, on time and within temperature specifications, while maintaining clear communication with drivers, customers and the internal team.
