Sands Fridge Lines in Forrestfield, WA, is seeking an experienced Transport Administration Officer to support day-to-day transport operations with accuracy and organisation.

You will manage customer reporting, driver rostering, payroll support, invoicing and compliance administration, collaborating across Transport, Payroll, Accounts and Warehousing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in transport, logistics or freight administration.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data validation, lookups and reporting.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
• Experience with payroll, timesheets or invoice reconciliation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced transport environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and submit daily, weekly and monthly customer reports.
• Assist with driver rostering and leave administration.
• Reconcile driver timesheets, run sheets and roster information.
• Verify subcontractor and carrier invoices.
• Review detention, demurrage and waiting time claims.
• Handle pick-up and delivery bookings; POD management and driver debrief administration.
• Provide general transport office support.

Sands Fridge Lines and Sands Cold Stores are seeking an experiencedTransport Administration Officer to become a key member of our Transport Operations team in Forrestfield.

This is a diverse role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment and thrives on accuracy, organisation and supporting multiple functions across the business. Responsible for customer reporting, rostering, payroll support, invoicing, compliance administration and transport documentation. You'll become a key support person across multiple functions, ensuring critical transport administration is completed accurately and on time. This position offers significant variety, ongoing learning opportunities and the chance to develop broad transport and logistics knowledge through cross-training across multiple operational areas.

About the Role

Reporting to the Transport Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of our transport operation while providing backup support across key functions including:

• Preparing, maintaining and submission of daily, weekly and monthly customer reports
• Assist with driver rostering and leave administration
• Reconcile driver timesheets, run sheets and roster information.
• Verify subcontractor and carrier invoices.
• Review detention, demurrage and waiting time claims.
• Pick-up and delivery bookings
• POD management and driver debrief administration
• General transport office support

You will work closely with our Transport, Linehaul, Debrief, Payroll, Accounts and Warehousing teams, becoming a valued cross-functional resource across the business.

• Available to participate in a rostered weekend rotation.
• Logistics, Supply Chain or related qualification.
• Refrigerated transport or cold chain logistics experience.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements.
• Experience with payroll processing and customer reporting.
