Job summary

Pickerings Group of Companies is seeking a results oriented Fixed Operations Manager for our Porsche & Audi Workshop Centre in Townsville. You will lead the Service, Parts and Pre-Delivery teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving efficiency and profitability.

You will apply strong operational, commercial and people management skills to maximise performance, develop your team and ensure compliance with dealer standards and WHS.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive operations or dealership management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with service bookings and accurately record repair and warranty work.
• Deliver professional exceptional customer service, managing enquiries promptly and ensuring service standards.
• Liaise with technicians to monitor repair progress, workshop productivity and efficiency.
• Lead and coordinate daily operational activities across multiple departments.
• Improve workflow, productivity, service efficiency and stock control.
• Monitor departmental performance, profitability and operational targets.
• Build strong relationships across teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards and WHS requirements.
• Develop, support and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement, accountability and operational excellence.
• Liaise with managers to implement monthly forecasted targets.
• Compile monthly reports to manufacturers.
• Organise weekly staff communication meetings to discuss tooling issues, efficiency, productivity and customer quality concerns.
