Job summary

Wisely is recruiting Fitters for permanent positions at a well-established mining operation less than two hours from Mackay, working on large diesel pumps and ancillary equipment.

Bring your expertise in pump maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, and join our growing team. Wisely conducts a pre-employment process including references, police checks and medical assessment; diversity is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Trade Certification (Australian recognised)
• Coal Board Medical and willingness to obtain
• Standard 11 and willingness to obtain
• HR Licence desirable

Responsibilities

• Maintain large diesel pumps and ancillary equipment.
• Diagnostics and repairs of pumps and related systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and work effectively in a team.

We are currently recruiting Fitters for these permanent positions at a well-established mining operation less than two hours from Mackay. Working on a variety of large diesel pumps and ancillary equipment.

Bring your expertise in pump maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, along with experience working on ancillary equipment, and join our growing team.

• Previous experience in mining or heavy industrial environment
• Commitment to safety with a proactive approach to your work
• Ability to work unsupervised with good attention to detail
• Work well in a team environment

Our ideal applicants will have:

• Trade Certification (Australian recognised)
• Coal Board Medical (willing to obtain)
• Standard 11 (willing to obtain)
• HR Licence (desirable)
