Savage Industries Pty Ltd in Mackay is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support ongoing shutdowns and rosters across the Bowen Basin. Trade-qualified professionals will work on ad hoc shutdowns with day and night shifts, contributing to reliable servicing of mining projects.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant Australian trade qualification, current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Relevant Australian Trade Qualification required.
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical.
• Current Coal Board Medical and a valid Driver's Licence.
• Confined Space, Gas Test Atmosphere, Working at Heights credentials preferred.
• Forklift, EWP, Dogging & Rigging competencies valued.
• Bowen Basin shutdown experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing 7/7 rostered work and ad hoc shutdowns in the Bowen Basin.
• Operate across day and night shifts as required by shutdown schedules.

Opportunities may includeongoing 7/7 rostered positions and Adhoc Rosters to support Wash Plant shutdown work throughout the Bowen Basin, depending on Site Requirements

Mechanical Fitters – Trade Qualified

• 7/7 Rotating Roster – Day Shift & Night Shift

WHAT YOU NEED
