Job summary

First Focus IT is a leading Australian provider helping financial services firms modernise AI, cybersecurity, cloud and managed IT. You will drive the commercial conversation from qualification to close, translating complex technology into tangible business outcomes for CFOs, MDs and IT leaders.

As an experienced Financial Services Technology Consultant, you’ll navigate risk, compliance and data security while delivering practical, secure and commercially valuable technology strategies.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in consultative B2B sales, solution consulting or tech consulting.
• Experience selling to financial services firms, including accounting and wealth management.
• Experience with managed services, financial services tech, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or industry platforms.
• Confidence engaging with MDs, CEOs, CFOs and IT decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial conversation from qualification through proposal to close.
• Translate cybersecurity, AI, cloud and managed services into business outcomes.
• Write clear, commercially credible proposals and ensure smooth handovers to delivery.
