Job summary

First Focus is seeking a Financial Services Technology Consultant to help financial services firms confidently adopt AI, strengthen cybersecurity and modernise technology that keeps their business running. This is an individual contributor role with hybrid work and strong commercial instincts.

You’ll lead from qualification to close, translate AI, cybersecurity, and cloud into measurable business outcomes, and build credibility with owners and executives while partnering with specialists.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in consultative B2B sales, solution consulting or technology consulting.
• Experience selling into financial services, wealth management, accounting or professional services.
• Track record selling managed services, professional services, cybersecurity, cloud, Microsoft technologies, AI or financial technology solutions.
• Confidence engaging with business owners, principals, CEOs, CFOs and technology decision makers.
• Strong discovery skills and commercial discipline.
• Excellent written communication and proposal development.
• Curiosity about AI, cybersecurity and cloud services and knowing when to involve specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial conversation from qualification through to proposal and close.
• Translate AI, cybersecurity, cloud and managed services into business outcomes for financial services leaders.
• Own the client relationship alongside technical specialists and solution architects.
• Produce clear, commercially credible proposals and ensure smooth handovers into implementation.
