Job summary

Alpine Shire Council in Bright, Victoria is seeking a Finance Officer on a fixed-term basis until February 2028 to cover parental leave. The role requires finance and payroll experience, familiarity with finance software, and strong admin skills. There is flexibility to work from home in line with policy.

The position is Band 5A with a salary of $75,998 plus super and annual leave loading. Based in Bright with monthly RDOs, you’ll join a values-driven council and be part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance and payroll.
• Experience and knowledge in the application of finance applications.
• Proficient with MS Office and other business applications.
• Highly developed administration skills and responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability in problem solving, decision making and researching.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
