Locmans Advisors, a boutique Melbourne-based accounting and advisory firm, invites a Finance Manager to drive financial performance through strategic reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. You will be part of the Leadership Team, delivering meaningful insights and strengthening financial controls.

The role supports EOS-based operations with mentoring, a 9-day fortnight and flexible 3-day weeks; hybrid or remote options for exceptional candidates, and a modern tech stack including

Competenze

• Bachelor of Business and CA/CPA qualification (or near completion).
• 3+ years’ experience in Australian public practice.
• Strong technical expertise in compliance and advisory services.
• Leadership mindset with ability to mentor and elevate team members.
• Strategic thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Mansioni

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts with clear performance insights.
• Monitor P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow; maintain reconciliations.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
• Oversee billing, WIP, pricing, productivity and utilisation.
• Maintain debtors oversight, repayments and cash requirements.
• Oversee payroll, compliance activities and finance operations.
• Analyze profitability by client, team and service line for pricing decisions.
• Partner with Projects and leaders on budgets and ROI analyses.
• Lead Finance team with clear accountability and development.
• Prepare financial analyses for EOS weekly meetings and planning.
