Job summary

Noble People in Melbourne is seeking a Finance Manager for a family office. This CPA/CA-led role blends hands-on accounting with commercial discussions across property development and management, health, and emerging ventures.

You will work directly with two entrepreneurial owners in a casual, empowering environment. The position is approximately four days per week (0.8 FTE) with a balance of Collins Street office and home.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with broad accounting experience
• Strong Excel and modelling skills
• Xero experience would be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Managing transactional finance and a small payroll across entities
• Preparing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and reports
• Developing budgets, forecasts, financial models and scenario analysis
• Assessing new opportunities and providing advice to the Directors
• Coordinating tax and statutory reporting with external accountants, alongside insurance and administration
• Improving reporting and processes while progressively building internal finance capability
