Job summary

Mars Recruitment is helping an Australian client seek a Finance Analyst in Sydney (CBD) with hybrid working. Play a key FP&A role involving budgeting, forecasting, reporting and commercial insight for a growing business.

You will report to a Finance Business Partner and contribute to strategic decision-making with cross-functional partners. 1–3 years FP&A experience and strong Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance with CA/CPA enrolment or in progress.
• 1–3 years' FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis experience.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and ability to partner with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare management reporting and performance analysis.
• Assist with business case development and commercial modelling.
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify key trends.
• Support financial governance and control requirements.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
