Job summary

atWork Australia, a division of MedHealth, is seeking a Finance Analyst to support the accounting and finance needs of the organisation. This role suits someone with FP&A experience and a track record in month-end processes, P&L management, and ad-hoc financial tasks across a large workforce.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to drive commercial KPIs, help with budgets and forecasts, ensure accurate transaction recording, and contribute to continuous improvement while balancing hybrid work

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting (Finance/Commerce).
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience.
• Experience in Employment Services highly regarded.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence.
• Curious, proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience working within a large compliance driven and geographically dispersed workforce is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders to meet the division's commercial KPIs.
• Provide commercial and finance training to Key Stakeholders as required.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in line with Group policy and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Provide and review P&Ls at month-end.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts in line with Group timetable.
• Respond to queries in a timely manner according to requirements.
• Foster a team environment that maintains an internal customer focus and delivers service excellence.
• Actively identify and contribute to opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Additional hours as required by the business.
