Job summary
dormakaba is seeking a Service & Installation Technician for Paget to install, service and repair residential and commercial garage and roller door systems across the Mackay region. You will travel daily to sites, perform measurements and fault finding, and ensure safety and quality on every job.
Role requires hands-on trade experience, strong safety practices, and excellent customer service. A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the local service area are essential.

- Experience using hand and power tools in trade/installation service environments.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads on site.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
Responsibilities
- Install, service and repair garage and roller door systems.
- Replace motors and related door components.
- Travel daily to customer and project sites across the branch area.
- Complete multiple installations and service jobs per day.
- Conduct site inspections, measurements and fault finding.
