Purple Patch Doors on the Gold Coast seeks a Service Technician to join the team. You will diagnose, service and repair garage doors, install openers, and perform regular maintenance for homes and businesses.

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Service Technician.

At Purple Patch Doors / B&D Garage Doors - Gold Coast, we strive to be the best in market service for everyone, offering comprehensive garage door services and outstanding service through excellent communication and timely solutions.

What does a typical day look like?

A day in the life of a Service Technician is hands-on. Each job is unique. The Service Technicians use their expertise to keep doors functioning smoothly, ensuring the safety and convenience of our customer's homes or businesses. They diagnose, service and repair garage doors, install new motors (we call them openers), and complete regular maintenance services and inspections for key customers.

Our aim is to provide expert solutions and advice, aimed at assisting the customer with making decisions about their garage door repair needs. They are supported by our office team, who take all customer calls and book/confirm the schedule for each day.

About you

No two jobs are the same! We are looking for someone who likes problem-solving and coming up with solutions. Communicates well, takes pride in their appearance, and is organized.

Have you previously worked in a trade that was not quite what you were looking for - automotive/ mechanical, construction, electronic, or engineering trade experience is advantageous, but not essential.

We work with customers that require police/background and medical clearances (including drug and alcohol testing), these will form part of the pre-employment process.
