Peacock Bros. Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks a Service Technician to repair, maintain and support barcode printers and RF scanning terminals on-site and remotely. You will handle hardware setup, diagnostics and occasional after-hours work to keep the customers' systems running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have electronics qualifications, fault-diagnosis skills, knowledge of Windows and Android, and a commitment to high-quality service with strong communication. A current driver's licence is required.

Qualifications

• Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics.
• Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills.
• Sound knowledge of computing, Windows and Android operating systems.
• High level of customer service and communication skills.
• Current driver's licence.

Responsabilités

• Repair and service barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals.
• Field service and on-site maintenance; remote support.
• Wi‑Fi system design, configuration and servicing.
• Disassembly/assembly of mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of printers and scanners.
