Job summary

Dematic Pty Ltd is seeking an motivated Industrial Electrician to join our team as a Field Service Technician in Sydney. You will deliver NSW support including repairs, maintenance, installations and emergency services for Dematic customers in the Sydney region.

The role requires troubleshooting, customer focus and high quality service. A current Australian electrical licence, valid driver’s licence and ability to work on-call and overtime are essential. Company vehicle and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Australian Electrical trade licence/qualification is mandatory.
• PLC experience is desirable but not required.
• Experience in automation (conveyors) and material handling equipment highly regarded.
• Experience in computerised maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Experience in pneumatic systems is preferred.
• Current driver’s licence is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NSW support including contract repair, preventative maintenance, installations and emergency breakdown services for Dematic customers in the Sydney region.
• Participate in rotating on-call roster and be flexible to work overtime including weekends.
• Work on-site in a permanent day shift but may support afternoon shifts as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair electric equipment, ensuring high-quality service and output.
• Operate with a strong focus on safety and OHS requirements.
