Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Tamworth, NSW site. You will work in a cold storage environment (0–4 degrees) with rotating 8-hour shifts and a 24/5 roster, maintaining critical automated systems across electrical and mechanical equipment.

You must hold a Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician and an unrestricted Electrical Licence in Australia, with strong communication skills and a hands-on problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification – Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australia).
• Solid maintenance experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable working in a cool room / freezer environment.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and implement timely fixes to maximise uptime.
• Collaborate with site team and stakeholders to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Maintain and update CMMS records for work orders and asset history.
