Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Heatherbrae, NSW, seeks a Field Service Supervisor - Mechanical Cutting to lead field service teams and optimise service delivery across underground equipment. The role oversees coordination of technicians, warranty processing, and customer site engagements.

You will require a recognised mechanical trade qualification and at least five years post-trade experience, with strong leadership and EHS focus. Some travel to NSW and QLD sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have proven supervisory experience in a mechanical workshop or field service.
• Mechanical trade qualification required.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Front Line Management highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan labour and resources for efficient field service delivery.
• Supervise and direct field service team members.
• Coordinate field service technicians on a daily basis.
• Process and respond to warranty claims and related service processes.
• Develop and train field service personnel.
• Communicate with internal lines to ensure consistent service across regions.
• Liaise with customers and perform site visits.
• Manage field service jobs in the computer maintenance system (CMMS).
• Participate in project-based work.
