Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to deliver diagnostic, repair and maintenance services directly to customers in the Adelaide region. The role is autonomous, offering variety and opportunities to develop technical skills while collaborating with a supportive team.

Key responsibilities include onsite diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Hitachi equipment, with rosters including 7 on/7 off or 5 on/2 off.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Diesel Mechanics or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical issues.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
• Experience with OEM or earthmoving equipment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Hitachi equipment.
• Work safely and in line with company quality and safety standards.

About You

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Mechanics or equivalent
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to work independently and solve technical issues
• OEM or earthmoving equipment experience (highly regarded)
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement
