Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Mechanic based in Launceston. You will deliver diagnostics, repairs and maintenance directly to customers, reporting to the Service Manager and working with a supportive team.

You'll service Hitachi and Bell equipment, build strong customer relationships, and complete paperwork accurately while upholding safety and quality standards. A Certificate III and a valid licence are required; overtime and bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
• Current driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical issues.
• Experience with OEM or earthmoving equipment is highly regarded.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
• Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base
• Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
• Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

As a Field Service Mechanic, you'll work with industry-leading Hitachi and Bell equipment, delivering expert diagnostics, repairs and maintenance directly to our customers. Based out of our Launceston branch and reporting to the Service manager; this role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working alongside a supportive and experienced team.
