Job summary

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a Field Service Fitter in our Perth branch to provide diagnostic, maintenance and repair support on Hitachi earthmoving equipment.

You will handle major shutdowns and new equipment builds for mining assets, working in a team or autonomously with a strong focus on safety and customer outcomes. Competitive salary, fully maintained vehicle and full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
• Heavy Rigid driving licence highly regarded.
• Experience with OEM equipment; BELL Equipment knowledge beneficial.

The Opportunity

With strong growth in our service department, our Perth branch has an exciting opportunity for a newly appointed Field Service Fitter to join the team. The key responsibility for this role is to provide quality customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs on our beloved Hitachi earthmoving equipment including major shutdowns and new equipment builds for mining assets.

• Experience & Skillset - Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated OEM equipment experience – BELL Equipment specific diagnosis is highly beneficial
