Job summary

Currie Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Sign & Display team. You will provide on-site installation, maintenance and repair services for EFI, EPSON, CANON and ELITRON products within the printing industry.

You will troubleshoot, upgrade systems, train clients, manage service schedules and maintain detailed service records, while travelling as required and delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in the printing industry (flexographic, digital, offset, finishing)
• Strong knowledge of printing machinery and control systems
• Proven experience in operating, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of printing equipment
• Driver's license and willingness to travel
• Degree or qualification in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for EFI, EPSON, CANON and ELITRON products
• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades for customers in the printing industry
• Support customers with technical inquiries, offering expert advice on equipment operations, system integration and workflow optimization
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop solutions for complex client needs and technical challenges
• Manage service schedules, ensure timely completion of service requests and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
• Conduct training for clients on equipment operation and maintenance best practices
• Maintain accurate service records including reports on service activities, parts used and recommendations for future upgrades
