GE Aerospace is seeking Field Service Engineers to deliver on-site and remote technical support for IT infrastructure, clinical diagnostics, medical devices, power systems and aerospace components around Sydney and NSW. You will install, configure, and test equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in service delivery, field engineering or related area.
• Hands-on experience with PC hardware, printers, peripherals and network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure including cabling and firewalls.
• Strong customer-service skills with clear communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide scheduled and ad hoc onsite and remote support to customers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and test equipment for projects.
• Assist with engineering tasks under senior guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Escalate critical issues to management when necessary.
• Support sales team with technical information during client visits.
• Follow company methodologies to deliver consistent high-quality service.
• Travel to client sites, sometimes internationally.
