Job summary

GE Aerospace Senior Field Service Engineer role located in Australia involves on-site leadership for jet engine fleets and embedded customer support. You will work remotely from GE hubs, traveling to sites as needed, guiding maintenance activities, and acting as the trusted technical liaison for airline operators.

You will mentor FSEs, lead cross-functional collaboration, and apply Lean principles to improve reliability and maintenance planning while delivering data-driven insights for fleet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in aerospace field service, airline ops, or related area.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones including early mornings and late evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and provide technical direction to customers and FSEs.
• Coach and mentor Field Service Engineers across departments.
• Guide field service policy and drive continuous improvements.
• Deliver timely solutions to customer issues and strengthen partnerships.
• Track reliability and engine events; influence maintenance decisions.
• Interpret OEM manuals to support maintenance activities.
• Provide proactive maintenance recommendations based on analytics.
