Job summary

LETO Technology Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support high-speed packaging and coding systems in fast-paced production environments.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and prevent downtime across CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA and LCM equipment, with Regular State-Based and Interstate travel and a rotating on-call roster. The role emphasizes reliability, customer outcomes, and hands-on technical development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or automation.
• Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• High level of ownership, organization, and communication.
• Current Australian Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LPA & LCM systems
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software faults
• Deliver first-time fix outcomes in fast-paced production environments
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Train operators and maintenance teams on correct system use
• Accurately complete service reports, parts usage, and asset records within a Service CRM
• Manage and maintain motor vehicle stock, ensuring readiness and control of parts and tools
• Support customer improvements, upgrades, and reliability initiatives
• Work closely with internal teams
• Meet assigned KPIs across utilisation, service quality, and commercial contribution
