Job summary

Eaton in Melbourne is seeking a Field Project Engineer to own electrical infrastructure projects on-site, delivering safely, on time and within budget while coordinating across engineering, procurement and construction teams.

You'll lead installation, testing and commissioning, resolve technical issues and work with customers and subcontractors to ensure quality handover, while developing broader project ownership and career growth within a global power management leader.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' project engineering experience in the electrical industry.
• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage complex situations and resolve conflict.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and prioritisation skills.
• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage electrical design documentation and submissions.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities.
• Support safe, compliant and high-quality site delivery.
• Work closely with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.

What you’ll do:

As part of our project management team,you'llplay a critical role in delivering customer projects safely, on time and within budget.
