Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Field Project Engineer to join the Power Quality division in Australia. The role blends hands-on site delivery with engineering ownership across critical electrical infrastructure projects.

You will manage design documentation, coordinate installation, testing and commissioning, and ensure safe, compliant site delivery while collaborating with customers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' project engineering experience in electrical industry.
• Experience delivering electrical design, installation or commissioning.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complex situations and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Support project engineering and delivery across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage electrical design documentation and technical submissions.

What we're looking for

We're open to candidates from critical power, electrical infrastructure, data centres, utilities, industrial automation, building services or related industries.

You’ll bring:

• 2+ years' project engineering experience within the electrical industry


• Experience in project delivery, electrical design, installation or commissioning


• Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving and prioritisation skills


• Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
