Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Commissioning Manager / Field Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects in Sydney, from installation through commissioning and handover. The role focuses on site-based execution and owning project outcomes on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience delivering electrical infrastructure, commissioning, construction, or critical power projects.

• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in complex project environments.

We're looking for a Commissioning Manager / Field Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical electrical infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to take ownership of site-based project execution, lead multidisciplinary teams, and deliver complex projects from installation through to commissioning and handover.

What you'll do

As part of our PMO team, you'll play a critical role in delivering customer projects safely, on time, and within budget. You will:

We're open to candidates from critical power, electrical infrastructure, data centres, utilities, industrial automation, building services, construction, or related industries.

• A Project Manager looking for greater ownership and field leadership responsibility.
• A Commissioning Manager seeking larger and more complex projects.
• A Senior Commissioning Engineer or Site Manager ready to step into broader project leadership.

You’ll bring:

• 3+ years' experience delivering electrical infrastructure, commissioning, construction, or critical power projects.
• Experience managing project delivery, contractors, vendors, risk, and site operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving capability.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in complex project environments.
• A qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
