Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management in Townsville is seeking a commercially driven Territory Manager to grow the territory and convert relationships into revenue. You’ll lead farm visits, product demonstrations and work with reseller partners to expand market share and build a strong pipeline.

We’re looking for a proactive sales professional with knowledge of agriculture, agri-tech or rural markets, comfortable travelling, and a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in territory sales with targets.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
• Experience working with reseller, dealer or distribution networks.
• Understanding of agriculture, agri-tech or rural markets.
• Confidence selling technical products, hardware, software or integrated solutions.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn customer needs into sales opportunities.
• Good CRM, pipeline management and forecasting habits.
• A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout your territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow your territory across Gallagher and Thunderbird portfolios and develop reseller capability.
• Create demand directly with farmers and end customers.
• Conduct farm visits and product demonstrations to deliver solutions with real value.
• Work closely with reseller partners to strengthen product knowledge and sales confidence.
• Build the market, grow the pipeline and uncover new opportunities.
