YH Support is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker (Advanced Fluency - Mandatory) aged 30-45 to join our team in Morayfield, QLD and surrounding areas. This casual role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to clients with disabilities and supporting daily living activities to promote independence and wellbeing.

You will work closely with clients, help with personal care and daily tasks, and document progress while adhering to policies and safety protocols.

Competenze

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
• Patience, empathy and genuine desire to help others.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Help with household tasks: meal prep, cleaning and laundry.
• Accompany clients in the community to appointments and social outings.
• Provide emotional support and meaningful engagement for clients.
• Document client progress and communicate with the care team.
• Follow all policies, procedures and safety protocols.

Female Disability Support Worker (30-45 yrs age)

YH Support is seeking a Female Disability Support Worker (Advanced Fluency - Mandatory due to comprehension issues) and between the age group of 30-45 yrs (as requested by the participant) to join our team in Morayfield, QLD and surrounding areas. This is a casual role that will involve providing compassionate and high-quality care to our clients with disabilities. You will work closely with our clients to assist them with daily living activities and support their independence and wellbeing.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with personal care, such as showering, dressing, and grooming
• Helping clients with household tasks, including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
• Accompanying and supporting clients in the community, such as during social outings or appointments
• Providing emotional support and engaging clients in meaningful activities
• Documenting client progress and communicating with the broader care team
• Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A current driver's license and access to reliable transport
