Staffing Options is seeking carers to support a sociable, creative woman in Queensland. You will help maintain social connections, engage in hobbies and community events, and assist with daily living and domestic tasks.

Shifts include day, overnight, and rotas, with about 22 hours per week to start. Applicants should be female with a willingness to obtain necessary checks and licences and the ability to travel within reasonable distance.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support is beneficial, but life experience and values count most.
• Ability to build meaningful social connections and engage in activities.

A sociable, creative and active lady in her 40s living is looking for new support workers to join her team. She enjoys attending an art group, singing, dancing, going to the theatre, watching movies, travelling, camping and spending time with her family and wide circle of friends. She also volunteers, is involved in community groups and likes to get out and about to local events. She is looking for someone enthusiastic and bubbly who will ensure her life is full of meaningful activities and connections. While experience in disability support is beneficial, similar interests, life experience, good values, good energy and a good fit are most important.

Shifts Available:

• Day Shifts 9am - 5pm
• Overnights 5pm - 9am
• Opportunities to pick up shifts when team members are on leave or as the roster rotates.
• *22 hours per week available to start for each worker*

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm shift - $38.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday 8pm - 6am shift - $43.12 per hour
• Saturday - $53.90 per hour
• Sunday - $69.30 per hour
• Public Holidays - $84.70 per hour
• Sleepover allowance $80.00 per shift

Requirements

• Female
• NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
• Current Open Queensland Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Current Blue Card (working with Children check) (or willing to obtain)
• Living within reasonable travelling distance
• Rights to work in Australia
