Access Lifecare is seeking enthusiastic Disability Support Workers for a Supported Independent Living Facility in Yass. You will provide personalised support, assist with daily living tasks and help clients participate in routine and social activities.
Role requires working across various shifts with a focus on safety, independence, and compassionate, respectful care for residents. Training and supervision are provided to support your professional growth.

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Disability Support Workers for working within our Supported Independent Living Facility's located in Yass.
You will be highly supported in your role with opportunity for professional supervision and ongoing support.
The role of disability support workers will include and not limited to : Supports clients with activities of daily living, Assisting with personal care, Providing domestic assistance (house cleaning, washing, tidying up), Assisting with meal preparation, Providing companionship and emotional support, Transporting client to appointments and/or recreational activities (if required)
Minimum of Cert III in Disability/Aged Care/Community or Mental Health
Experience of working with people with disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex physical disabilities (desired)
Flexibility and availability is essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, evening, night and weekends
Willingness to work in the community

1-2 years of disability support work or personal care experience (desired)
Valid work rights in Australia
Current National Police Check (within 12 months validity), (or be prepared to obtain)
Current First Aid & CPR certification (or be prepared to obtain)
Working with vulnerable people card
Demonstrated experience/knowledge in working with people with disability
Be comfortable working independently as well as an active team member
