Job summary

RecordPoint in Canberra is seeking an experienced SaaS sales professional to lead new-business growth with federal agencies. You will manage full sales cycles inside public sector procurement, partnering with Solutions Engineering, Marketing and Customer Success to identify, shape and win agency deals.

This outcomes-driven role rewards revenue and pipeline health, requiring credibility with senior government stakeholders, deep knowledge of procurement, and a disciplined approach to forecasting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a SaaS sales role, preferably with federal government exposure.
• Proven success engaging executive decision-makers in government or regulated sectors.
• Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes, frameworks and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with Salesforce for outreach, data and reporting.
• Eligibility to pass a police background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage federal opportunities and drive targeted outbound across agencies and system integrators.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering to build compelling value propositions.
• Navigate government procurement to close and meet revenue targets.
• Partner with Marketing on account-based campaigns and government-focused events.
• Maintain forecast accuracy and pipeline management in Salesforce.
