Job summary

115 Cisco Systems Australia Pty Limited is seeking an Account Executive to drive Splunk-related growth in the Federal Government market from Canberra. You will acquire new business and expand existing engagements using the combined Splunk and Cisco team and portfolio.

You will manage named Federal Government Civilian accounts, hit revenue targets, and collaborate across engineering, services, partners, and Cisco teams to deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Extensive Federal Government sales experience within ACT in the SaaS space.
• Established senior-level and executive relationships within the Federal Government space.
• Experience engaging and influencing C‑suite and senior Government/Public Sector executives.
• Salesforce CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow Federal Government Civilian accounts with new business opportunities.
• Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for licenses, support, and services.
• Serve as trusted advisor on initiatives including network modernization, 5G deployment, cloud migration, service assurance.
• Collaborate with Splunk Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Partner, and Cisco teams.
• Lead pricing, commercial negotiations, and value‑based selling discussions with all levels across customers.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce in partnership with Sales Operations and management.
• Ensure strong pipeline hygiene and reporting accuracy through effective use of Salesforce and internal systems.
