Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane is a community-owned not-for-profit delivering health care and social services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Brisbane and Logan. The Family Wellbeing Services program provides coordinated, culturally safe support for vulnerable families using holistic case management and collaboration with multiple service providers.

Qualifications

• Must have strong case management skills and ability to document with clear written communication.
• Demonstrated understanding of relevant legislation and ability to apply practice frameworks.
• Commitment to ATSICHS values and culturally safe practice.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients using micro-counselling techniques and supportive communication.
• Conduct safety assessments and respond to domestic violence, self-harm, or child safety concerns.
• Maintain detailed case notes reflecting client voices and perspectives.
• Coordinate with internal and external services to provide wrap-around care.
• Participate in supervision and MOBnet tasks as required.
