Job summary

ATSICHS Brisbane is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Social Services professional to deliver client-centred case management and wrap-around care. You will build strong relationships, conduct safety assessments, and coordinate services for families and individuals in our community.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Social Work or Certificate IV with relevant experience, strong organisational and writing skills, and a commitment to culturally safe practices in Aboriginal and Torres Strait

Qualifications

• Current bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with 2 years’ relevant experience in social services.
• Certificate IV in a relevant Community Services field with at least 3 years of case management experience and commitment to diploma.
• Demonstrated case management skills and ability to apply relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients through effective micro-counselling and active listening.
• Deliver safety assessments and responses for domestic violence, self-harm/mental health, and child abuse.
• Maintain detailed case notes written in the client’s voice and complete required surveys.
• Participate in monthly supervision and MOBnet tasks with the line Manager.
• Provide wrap-around care and coordinate access to mental health services.
