Job summary

Easy iCare SYD is hiring Family Support Workers to assist with personal care, mobility, meals and daily activities for participants under NDIS guidelines.

You will work closely with care teams, coordinators and the accounts team to ensure smooth shift operations and high-quality support for clients across Sydney. A valid driver's licence and First Aid are required, with a focus on safety and client-centric care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in Disability services preferred, Family Services experience is a plus.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Advanced computer and literacy skills are essential.
• Knowledge of community agencies to coordinate services.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate are required.
• Approved AFP.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients with the support Coordinator to assess needs.
• Understand Participants' NDIS Plans, goals and Care Plans to align shift tasks.
• Provide personal care, manual handling and medication administration.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities as required.
• Coordinate with Accounts & Payroll for shift verification and adjustments.
• Support participants in in-house and community activities and transport.
• Ensure safety and compliance with health and safety policies.
• Report incidents and maintain accurate documentation.
