Job summary

Caring Approach seeks compassionate Disability Support Workers for the Sydney region. Work across Sydney in clients' homes, providing person-centred care to improve independence and quality of life.

This role involves personal care, domestic tasks, meal prep, medication support, and community participation. We welcome applicants with at least six months of experience, a Certificate III or higher, and appropriate checks (police, WWCC, NDIS).

Qualifications

• Understanding of person-centred care practices.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Experience with daily living activities and home care is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, bathing, dressing and hygiene support.
• Complete domestic assistance and household tasks.
• Assist with meal preparation and food service.
• Provide medication assistance and support with activities of daily living.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the care team.
