Job summary

Easy iCare Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to assist guests with daily living tasks, mobility, meal preparation, and engagement in activities. You will work within a supportive team and adhere to NDIS guidelines, with a focus on safety and participant well-being.

Role requires Certificate III in Individual Support, 2+ years in disability services, and a current First Aid Certificate. Full-time, 38 hours per week, AUD remuneration with superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher.
• Minimum of 2 years working within Disability services; Family Services preferred.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Advanced computer literacy.
• Current unrestricted Driver's Licence and First Aid Certificate.
• Approved AFP.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as washing hands, bathing, brushing teeth, and getting dressed.
• Adapt care based on individual guest needs and preferences.
• Assist guests with mobility aids and navigating ramps or stairs.
• Prepare and cook meals considering dietary requirements.
• Clean and maintain rooms, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Support guests in participating in activities and coordinate with care teams.
