Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the daily operations of the facility kitchen and meal services in the ACT region. You will ensure meals meet nutritional, dietary, allergen, and texture requirements while maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service delivery.

You will oversee menu planning, stock control, and food ordering, and lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to foster a high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the facility kitchen and meal services.
• Ensure all meals meet nutritional, dietary, allergen, and texture requirements.
• Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
• Oversee menu planning, food ordering, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements.
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with management to optimise productivity and service delivery.
