Job summary

Goodwin is seeking a caring Resident Support Partner to assist in our Assisted Living team. You will help residents maintain independence and quality of life through meal service, cleaning, laundry, and lifestyle activities within a warm, multidisciplinary setting.

The role supports a respectful, resident-focused environment with opportunities for professional development and a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, laundry, housekeeping or hospitality, preferably within aged care, retirement living or a hotel environment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices, chemical handling, equipment use and manual handling.
• Understanding of food handling and meal service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A caring, respectful and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal and beverage service and maintain clean dining areas.
• Provide scheduled cleaning and housekeeping services in residents' apartments and shared areas.
• Complete laundry and linen services, including washing, drying, folding and bed making.
• Follow infection prevention and control requirements.
• Build positive relationships with residents and support a respectful, welcoming environment.
• Assist with leisure and lifestyle activities when required.
• Encourage residents to remain independent and involved in their daily activities.
• Complete allocated tasks efficiently and report any incidents or concerns appropriately.
• Participate in team meetings, training and continuous improvement activities.

About the Role

Goodwin is seeking a caring and reliable Resident Support Partner to join our Assisted Living team.

In this varied role, you will support residents to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life by providing practical assistance across meal service, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping and lifestyle activities.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will help create a safe, welcoming and homely environment while promoting a "doing with, not doing for" approach.

Key Responsibilities

About You

Requirements

• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant employment screening and clearances as required.
