Job summary

Goodwin Aged Care is seeking a skilled Kitchen Leader to drive daily kitchen operations across our aged care facilities. You will oversee meal services, ensure nutritional and safety standards, and lead a team to deliver quality dining experiences for residents.

The role requires a Certificate III/IV in Catering or Commercial Cookery, a Food Safety Supervisor certification, and proven leadership. Experience in HACCP and aged care is highly valued, with opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Catering or Commercial Cookery.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the facility kitchen and meal services.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional, dietary, allergen, and texture requirements.
• Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and service delivery.
• Oversee menu planning, food ordering, and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and WHS requirements.
• Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a high-performing team culture.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and implement continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with management to optimise productivity and service delivery.
