Goodwin Aged Care Services Limited is seeking reliable Domestic Support Assistants to help older Australians stay independent at home. You will perform domestic tasks, ensure a clean, safe living space and deliver friendly, respectful client service in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• Current Australian driver’s licence is required.
• Own registered motor vehicle with full comprehensive insurance for work use.
• A smartphone that is available during work hours.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
• Flexibility to adapt to different clients, homes and situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance in accordance with individual care and service plans.
• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting and bathroom/kitchen cleaning.
• Assist with washing, folding and ironing clothes and linen.
• Dispose of household waste appropriately.
• Complete required documentation accurately per Goodwin policies.
• Report incidents, hazards and other events to management.
• Respond to client requests professionally and respectfully.
• Communicate with clients in a respectful, dignified and culturally sensitive manner.
• Contribute to quality care and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a reliable, caring and motivated Domestic Support Assistants to join our team and support older Australians to remain living independently in their own homes.

In this role, you’ll provide essential domestic assistance to our Home Care clients, helping them maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment while providing friendly and respectful customer service.

What you’ll do

• Provide domestic assistance in accordance with individual care and service plans.
