Job summary

Oaks Adelaide Embassy Suites, part of Minor Hotels, seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations, maintenance and compliance for the property in Australia. This full-time role requires coordinating with owners, residents, contractors and the Body Corporate Committee to ensure safety, functionality and long-term asset value.

The role involves managing budgets, maintenance planning and capital projects, while upholding WHS and regulatory standards and building

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities/building management and property maintenance.
• Hands-on with building systems, essential services and maintenance programs.
• Contractor management and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience budgeting, quotations and maintenance expenditure.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of all building infrastructure and common property areas.
• Develop, implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance works and capital improvement projects.
• Undertake minor repairs and general maintenance where required.
• Manage contractors and service providers across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, HVAC, fire, security and cleaning services.
• Ensure building services and equipment remain compliant and operational.
• Oversee WHS, risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate emergency management procedures and after-hours issues.
