Job summary

Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort in New South Wales, Australia, is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead our facilities operations on a full-time basis. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all building systems and common areas, with a focus on preventative maintenance and contractor management.

You will manage budgeting, asset registers, sustainability initiatives, WHS compliance, and work closely with Body Corporate representatives and hotel management to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on maintenance or facilities management, preferably in hotels.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, compliance and maintenance best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and develop team members.
• Experience in preventative maintenance and contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventative maintenance programs across buildings and facilities.
• Provide hands-on repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Oversee contractors and service providers across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain common areas, gardens and grounds to high standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, quotes and asset management.
• Liaise with Body Corporate representatives, owners, residents and hotel management.
• Assist with budgeting, invoices and capital expenditure projects.
• Ensure WHS compliance and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement.
