Job summary

PwC Australia is looking for a Facilities Coordinator in Sydney to keep our spaces running smoothly. You will coordinate maintenance, manage contractors, support events, and ensure security and compliance across the workplace.

You will partner with internal teams, handle invoices, and help maintain a welcoming, well-presented environment for colleagues and visitors. A calm, proactive communicator who can multitask will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a corporate facilities, workplace or building operations role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to prioritise workload with good judgment.
  • Ability to stay calm with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate planned, reactive and emergency maintenance works with contractors and building management.
  • Oversee cleaning services and workplace presentation with regular audits.
  • Respond to facilities requests using workplace management systems to track and resolve issues.
  • Support workplace events and meeting space operations to ensure spaces are well prepared.
  • Assist with security activities, including access control and CCTV administration.
  • Process and track workplace invoices, ensuring timely approval and payment.
  • Coordinate the fire warden network, maintaining records and training needs.
  • Support emergency preparedness activities as required.

What you’ll do:
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identifying issues, defects and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate planned, reactive and emergency maintenance works, managing contractors, suppliers and building management to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with workplace requirements.
  • Oversee cleaning services and workplace presentation, conducting regular audits and resolving service issues.
  • Respond to facilities requests, using workplace management systems to track and resolve issues.
  • Support workplace events and meeting space operations, ensuring facilities are set up and maintained to a high standard.
  • Support workplace security activities, including access control, security audits and CCTV administration.
  • Process and track workplace related invoices, ensuring timely approval and payment.
  • Coordinate the fire warden network, maintaining records, training requirements and emergency preparedness activities.
What we’re looking for:
  • Demonstrated experience in a corporate environment (Facilities, Workplace, building operations or corporate services preferred)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own judgement to effectively manage and prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • High level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Energetic, motivated and passionate approach to facilities coordination.
  • Accountability for successful completion of tasks with clear communication and regular updates.
