Job description

Introduction

We are seeking a proactive, service‑oriented Workplace Services Coordinator to deliver high-quality, professional, and sustainable workplace services across our corporate office and branch network. You will coordinate facilities management, meeting and executive support, workplace events, vendor and contract oversight, and day‑to‑day operational services in line with banking sector governance, risk and compliance expectations. This role supports the Board and Executive Operations, enhances the employee and visitor experience, and advances our ESG and sustainability objectives.

This role is based in our Sydney office, currently in Mascot and is soon to be relocated to the CBD.

Why join us
  • We have big plans to become Australia’s leading purpose‑driven bank.
  • As a certified B Corp, we’re part of a global business community who meet the highest social and environmental standards, balancing profit and purpose.
  • Every role and person in our bank is essential to bringing our values, purpose and aspiration to life.
  • We offer flexible working options, competitive salary and 14% super.
  • Our staff have access to a range of meaningful benefits to support their physical and mental wellbeing including 24/7 free counselling, free flu vaccinations and discounted gym memberships.
  • We also support staff with study assistance, paid parental leave (regardless of gender), volunteer, bereavement, gender affirmation and family violence leave; and the opportunity for bonus annual leave.
  • We support our staff to grow their careers through learning and development and an organisational culture where we reward and recognise innovation and values, not long hours.
  • We are committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that reflects the Australian community.
  • We care for a conservation reserve – where we work with key partner organisations to protect threatened species and involve staff in conservation.
What you will be doing
  • Act as primary contact for building management and concierge; coordinate repairs, maintenance, cleaning and day‑to‑day workplace operations to ensure a safe, compliant office environment.
  • Prepare boardroom and meeting spaces, manage AV and catering, and provide executive meeting logistics in line with governance protocols.
  • Plan and coordinate internal workplace events and support Annual General Meeting logistics, vendor coordination and stakeholder engagement within budget and standards.
  • Drive recycling, waste reduction and sustainable sourcing initiatives; assist with ESG data, audits and supplier alignment.
  • Onboard/offboard suppliers, monitor performance, support contract renewals and invoice verification, and manage mail and general workplace administration.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to maintain presentation and functionality, support access/security processes, and assist with minor moves and refurbishment projects.
What you will bring
  • Proven background in workplace services, facilities coordination, or hospitality within a corporate or regulated environment.
  • Practical knowledge of recycling, waste reduction, responsible sourcing, and supporting ESG reporting and audits.
  • Confident, professional communication with executives, board members, suppliers, and building management.
  • Strong contract, supplier and facilities management skills with attention to cost control and service standards.
  • Proactive problem‑solver who delivers a polished employee and visitor experience while managing competing priorities.
