Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to oversee inspections, maintenance coordination, security tasks, and events support in our Sydney workplace. You will liaise with internal teams and external contractors to keep spaces compliant and welcoming.

Ideal candidates will have corporate facilities experience, strong communication, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role supports daily operations across our Sydney office.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks calmly.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement.

  • Oversee cleaning services and workplace presentation; conduct regular audits.
  • Respond to facilities requests using workplace management systems to track issues.
  • Support workplace events and meeting space operations to high standard.
  • Support security activities including access control and CCTV administration.
  • Process and track workplace invoices ensuring timely approvals.
  • Coordinate fire warden network, maintaining records and training requirements.

Job Description
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits, identifying issues, defects and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate planned, reactive and emergency maintenance works, managing contractors, suppliers and building management to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with workplace requirements.
  • Oversee cleaning services and workplace presentation, conducting regular audits and resolving service issues.
  • Respond to facilities requests, using workplace management systems to track and resolve issues.
  • Support workplace events and meeting space operations, ensuring facilities are set up and maintained to a high standard.
  • Support workplace security activities, including access control, security audits and CCTV administration.
  • Process and track workplace related invoices, ensuring timely approval and payment.
  • Coordinate the fire warden network, maintaining records, training requirements and emergency preparedness activities.

About the Candidate
  • Demonstrated experience in a corporate environment (Facilities, Workplace, building operations or corporate services preferred)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own judgement to effectively manage and prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm whilst managing multiple tasks.
  • High level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Energetic, motivated and passionate approach to facilities coordination.
