Job summary

Rydges Esplanade Cairns is seeking an energetic and organised F&B Supervisor to join the team on a casual basis, available to start asap.

You will oversee daily food and beverage service across breakfast, lunch and dinner, lead and motivate a team, ensure high standards of food quality and presentation, and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests - whether they're here for a conference, a wedding, or a Great Barrier Reef getaway.

Qualifications

• Experience as an F&B Supervisor or similar in hotels, bars, or restaurants, ideally across multiple meal periods and event/service.
• Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a team, building strong culture and guest experience.
• Solid food and beverage knowledge, including wine and cocktails (training provided).
• Warm, approachable manner with excellent communication skills and flexibility.
• Skilled at anticipating and managing guest needs, including for conferences and events.
• Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and pride in presentation.
